Wallpaper for Burma

Fighting peacock represent to National League for Democracy (NLD) which is fighting for democracy, peace and freedom in Burma. (but I'm not really sure about "fighting" part though. The correct word might be "waiting" or "wondering around")

I don't believe in the way they are going... but here's a wallpaper that can represent the situation. I neither support NLD nor the existing military government FYI.

Saffron Revolution

It's for Saffron Revolution in Burma. It was on September of 2007. You can read more about that on wikipedia if you are interested. It was fairly difficult for me because I only used "paint", "Microsoft picture manager" and "Picasa". I should install GIMP maybe... for next wallpapers.

Doe Lone

Doe Lone was known as a Burmese Alternative singer. His songs are pretty difficult to put in a specific genre. However, they are something special and unique among Burmese musical environment. I started to listen his songs from his "collection of best songs" album and I loved the songs. Maybe, it was his third (and last) album. Unfortunately, he died in 2003. His creations are stopped but he has left many songs though... The lyric I wrote under his photo is from the song below. We miss you Doe Lone! :(

To Victory

The picture below is the original graffiti that I used for making that wallpaper. I tried to separate the hand from the star. After that... I changed the sizes and tried to put them with my own composition.

The original graffiti was found on google image search, by typing the word "Revolution". I found this image like 2 years ago and I can't find it back now. I don't know why it is not on the internet anymore. However, It was lucky that I saved it in my thumb drive. I am not really worried to use that graffiti, as my wallpaper is sharing for non-commercial use. Anyway, thanks to the original artist.
